This course provides cognitive and skill training in Direct & Alternating Current. The student will have a fundamental working knowledge of the physics of electronics; current, voltage and resistance; electrical AC & DC circuits; electrical AC & DC measurements and use of testing equipment; power; magnetism; sine waves; non-sinusoidal wave-forms; AC & DC Circuits with capacitance & inductance; filters; transformers; 3 phase electricity; introduction to motors and safety in the work place.
