This course will introduce students to career opportunities in Cosmetology. Students will be introduced to various tools, its usage, history, the chemical composition of hair, understanding hair loss, recognizing the disorders of the hair scalp, hair, and scalp care. Emphasis will be placed on skill development using mannequin and clients through preparation and procedures in shampooing, roller sets, treatment application and roller-set styling.
