This course introduces students to career opportunities in Cosmetology. professional ethics, various tools, its usage, history, the chemical composition of hair, understanding hair loss, recognizing the disorders of the hair and scalp. Emphasis will be placed on skill development using mannequin and clients through preparation and procedures in shampooing, roller sets, treatment application and roller-set techniques.
